University support services:
Plan well, research better
IfM Engage has an extensive track record of working with stakeholders from across the University of Cambridge (UoC) to support the development of strategy and enhance collaboration.
We use tools, knowledge and approaches developed at the University to create meaningful change and impact, providing support to the University in the following areas:
-
-
- Facilitating collaboration between the University and stakeholders across industry, academia and government – we provide structure to support the shared understanding of priorities and interests so these can be aligned with research direction to ensure maximum impact.
- Supporting grant applications and project planning – we work with academics, groups and consortia to develop proposals and/or plans for research projects to improve the success rates of grant applications and start projects off effectively.
- Supporting University departments, colleges, schools and institutes – we enable effective strategy development that incorporates a wide variety of stakeholders and views, working to achieve a shared vision and what needs to be implemented to get there.
-
IfM Engage is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the University of Cambridge so all profits are gifted to the University to fund future research.

“We now have a more comprehensive view of some of the key aspirations we should be progressing as a collegiate University across a wide range of stakeholders, along with some of the challenges and barriers facings their implementation, which is informing our strategy and planning process. IfM Engage’s help to capture this information in such a short space of time was very impressive – they are a real asset to the University.”
Professor David Cardwell, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Strategy and Planning, University of Cambridge
