We are very pleased to announce initial details for the upcoming STIM Network Meeting and Member Forum on Wednesday 23 & Thursday 24 November, taking place here at the Institute for Manufacturing in Cambridge.
Meeting highlights include:
· Member forum discussion - practical ideas are openly discussed in response to a technology and innovation management issue raised by a participating company
· 2 expert talks from
o Prof Dr.-Ing Dr Sven Schimpf, Managing Director of the Frauhofer Group for Innovation Research
o Prof Jan Oliver Schwarz, Professor of Strategic Foresight and Trend Analysis, Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt
· Networking with industry participants and project leads
· STIM project introduction and discussions with project leads
· Drop-in surgery to discuss technology and Innovation management issues and ideas with IfM Engage practitioners
STIM is an annual rolling programme, refreshed each year in terms of focus and membership. The programme is organised around a schedule of strategic technology and innovation management projects, jointly developed at the launch meeting, providing a platform to support exchange of experience by participating firms.
The core programme of events is enhanced with additional knowledge transfer/exchange events including masterclasses, webinars and exploratory workshops to provide member companies with relevant knowledge in selected STIM topics and challenges.
