Events Manager (Maternity cover)

The Events Manager will work as part of the Events team to:

  • Raise awareness and build the reputation of IfM and IfM Engage by planning, marketing and delivering exceptional events and open courses
  • Foster and facilitate relationships among the various stakeholders through judicious and creative event management
  • Provide specialist events and marketing advice to IfM and IfM Engage stakeholders

The Events Manager will be employed by IfM Engage, based in the Alan Reece Building, Charles Babbage Road, Cambridge. This role is full-time; however, we are open to conversations around flexible working and operate an ‘office first’ hybrid working policy (at 60% of working time in the office). The salary band for this role is £41,000 – 45,000 per annum FTE plus a generous benefits package, including healthcare. We encourage applications from all sections of society.

Communications Officer

We are looking for an experienced Communications Officer to support the communications activities across the IfM and IfM Engage to help us:

  • Build and enhance IfM’s and IfM Engage’s reputation by effectively communicating with target audiences.
  • Create impactful, accessible content through collaboration with researchers and clients.
  • Develop communication capabilities within IfM Engage and IfM.

Policy Communications Officer

We are seeking a full-time Policy Communications Officer to increase the visibility of the Policy Links Unit to external audiences. Working alongside the IfM Engage Communications Manager on a variety of dynamic and globally focused projects, the Policy Communications Officer will:

  • Manage communication and dissemination tasks for the ‘Turning the World Risk Poll into action’ project.
  • Create and promote outputs to build thought leadership in industrial innovation policy, attract interest, and enhance credibility.
  • Provide tailored communications support for project delivery as needed.
