IfM Engage is delighted to form part of a consortium, led by Eden Nuclear and Environment, that has been awarded a place on the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority’s Research Portfolio Framework for “Enabling Decommissioning, Waste Management and Remediation”.

On 19 June, IfM Engage co-hosted its inaugural event for mental health innovation with The Foundation for Young People’s Mental Health (YPMH). Delegates came to the IfM from a variety of sectors to seek better interventions for the prevention and treatment of mental illness.

The decision to create a new independent UK Semiconductor Institute follows a key recommendation from an IfM Engage study. The institute will be vital in supporting the government’s £1 billion Semiconductor Strategy, which aims to unite and advance the UK’s semiconductor sector.

IfM Engage hosted its inaugural Rethinking Innovation event on 18 April, a unique gathering that brought together an international group of innovation and technology leaders. During the one-day event, participants were challenged to change how they think about innovation with the view of creating more agile and sustainable innovation systems for the future.
