Dr Clive Kerr joined the University of Cambridge in 2005 and works across research, executive education and consulting. As a Senior Researcher in technology management, his expertise encompasses strategic planning, management tools/toolkits and technology roadmapping.

Clive is a lead tutor on the course Charting pathways to value: Strategic technology management tools and templates.

EXPERTISE

Clive has extensive experience helping organisations navigate technological change, leading the design and practical application of frameworks and tools across both commercial and public-sector settings. His work has ranged from global companies such as LEGO and Rolls-Royce to government organisations including the UK Ministry of Defence and the Royal Navy.

Clive is a Chartered Engineer with professional memberships of the IMechE, IET, RAeS and the AIAA. He holds a Doctorate and First Class Honours in Engineering, and additional qualifications in Economics and the Social Sciences. His combination of academic rigour and industrial experience enables him to bring insightful and pragmatic perspectives to executive education and the practice of technology management.
