Harald is an Industrial Associate and supports organisations in their transformation towards innovation excellence by improving R&D, technology and innovation management on strategic and operational level.

He is based in Munich and is working with clients in all industries worldwide. Harald started with the IfM Engage team in January 2021.

EXPERTISE

Having worked for Siemens, OSRAM and currently for REHAU, he is an experienced manager in transforming businesses and creating new technology & innovation landscapes. Harald’s passion and interest in manufacturing and sustainability include the circular economy and blockchain technologies.

He assists clients with moving their organisations forward in the following key areas:

Transforming businesses into international and agile innovation systems.

Developing technology, R&D, innovation and digitalization strategies and their operationalisation using corporate foresight and integrated roadmapping.

Enabling organisations for open innovation with focus on start-up scouting and networking, public funding and strategic partnerships.

Developing R&D and innovation performance measurement systems.

HIGHLIGHTS

Before starting with IfM, Harald spent more than 15 years shaping organisations towards high-performing innovation ecosystems. He has worked around the globe in various industries and functions including consulting, new business development, R&D management, and strategy development.

Harald holds an diploma in industrial engineering and has studied at the University of Applied Sciences, Berlin and University of Westminster, London. He currently holds a position as Global Head of Strategic Technology & Innovation Management at REHAU AG + Co.
