Thomas is the founder and Head of the IfM’s Cyber-Human Lab, which focuses on how technologies can be used to augment human work and improve human performance in industry.

EXPERTISE

Dr Bohné’s research is broadly interested in the intersection of human capacity and technology to create solutions that can make a significant contribution towards a better future.

He is co-founder, Senior Treasurer and Executive Committee member of the Cambridge University VR / AR Society; Senior Treasurer and Executive Committee member of the Cambridge University Technology and Enterprise Club (CUTEC); and trustee (“Vertrauensdozent”) of the Stiftung der Deutschen Wirtschaft’s UK group (sdw UK).

Thomas holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge’s Department of Engineering, an MPhil from Cambridge’s Judge Business School, and an MLitt from the University of St Andrews. He has been a Visiting Fellow at Harvard University and has held positions at several public and private organisations.
