Virginia is leading and facilitating a range of projects implementing the CSIM methodology for sustainable improvement from the ground up, working closely with factories, particularly in the Fashion industry.

HIGHLIGHTS

Virginia started her journey studying MET at the IfM, doing her Master’s dissertation with Professor Steve Evans on circularity in Fashion supply chains.

She then worked in some of the largest factories in Sri Lanka and Vietnam, including Saitex, where she managed the sustainability of a 4,000 people B-Corp certified denim factory. Her projects included calculating LCAs, and setting up a social enterprise dedicated to people with disabilities.

Virginia is now working closely with the IfM Engage team on a range of projects. She also works for Yunus Social Business expanding the concept of social enterprises, and provides open-source sustainable fashion lessons.
