Esdras Paravizo is a Solutions Development Specialist at the Solutions Development team within IfM Engage. He works with public and private organisations to unlock their creative potential and support the creation of their technology and innovation strategies.

Esdras’ areas of expertise include:

• creativity, problem-solving and design thinking
• technology and innovation roadmapping and strategy
• advanced manufacturing and industry 4.0 transition
• ergonomics, human factors and work design
• gamification and serious games for training

HIGHLIGHTS

With an Industrial Engineering background, Esdras is concluding his PhD research at the Engineering Design Centre, at the University of Cambridge. During his PhD, Esdras carried out international placements at the Delft University of Technology (The Netherlands) and at the University of Toronto (Canada).

Before starting his PhD, Esdras participated in international research projects at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and Technische Universität Berlin (TU Berlin). His work has received awards from the Design Society (2024) and the International Ergonomics Association (2018).

Besides his research activities, Esdras worked with several organisations globally, including Nivea-Beiersdorf, Embraer, Maersk Drilling and AB InBev.
