Holly Sheahan is part of the Digital Manufacturing on a Shoestring Unit within IfM Engage. The unit is responsible for transitioning the Shoestring research project into a commercial and community based activity. Holly manages Shoestring operations and resources to support activities such as pilot trials, workshops and deployments and is developing a business plan and model for the initiative.

Digital Manufacturing on a Shoestring is an EPSRC funded research programme which has devised an affordable, easy-to-implement approach that helps manufacturers to try out small-scale digital solutions that will not disrupt core operations but which can provide immediate benefits.

HIGHLIGHTS

Prior to joining IfM Engage, Holly worked in Academic and Financial Planning at Cambridge University, working on strategic capital projects such as the West Hub.
