Louise Wood is IfM Engage’s Event Programme Manager with primary responsibility for the development and delivery of events and open course programmes, ensuring all are designed to support the strategic objectives, and incorporating an appropriate mix of activities to engage a diverse group of stakeholders and audiences.
EXPERTISE
Louise places the client experience and customer journey front and centre, considering every touchpoint and engagement, helping to foster strong relationships between the IfM and all of its stakeholders. The events team supports client and stakeholder activity across a number of areas:
- Open courses.
- Memberships.
- Consultancy workshops.
- EPD programmes.
- IfM-wide events.
To facilitate these activities, Louise takes a holistic and interconnected view to all processes and systems used and developed, allowing for high levels of collaboration and standards of delivery.
HIGHLIGHTS
Louise has worked across a variety of industry areas, including museums and galleries, not-for-profit, leisure and higher education and has had the opportunity to work on a number of exciting, high-profile events, including:
- Planning and coordinating the recreation of a Spitfire scramble to open the Battle of Britain 75th Anniversary Air Show at IWM Duxford in 2015 as part of her role as manager of crowd-side logistics.
- Event management of the royal opening of the Simon Sainsbury Centre, Cambridge Judge Business School in 2018, and the inaugural Cambridge Judge Business School Recognition Lunch at Landing Forty Two, London in 2019.
- Providing the full customer experience and warm IfM welcome to our first ever online event and course attendees during 2020.
