In a 2013 UK Government Foresight report on the future of UK manufacturing, a team of leading experts made predictions on what a more sustainable future manufacturing sector would look like.
Professor Steve Evans was part of the team that wrote the original Foresight report which looked out to 2050. The report predicted future changes to the industrial system, focusing on those aspects that would affect, or be impacted by, sustainability
